Moulds & Paint Pours

Here’s a couple more class projects I created in my Creative Junkies Facebook group.

This piece was using moulds on a plastic Easter egg. The bird is a mould. Beads are a string of plastic pearls. The trim is a braided trim that I bought by the yard. Paint is DIY Crinoline mixed with some brown and gray. The dark coloring is dark wax. Finials are from Tim Holtz. They are painted with a rose gold paint and rubbed with the dark wax.

The girl in the rain was a class on paint pours that Joanie taught us. Hard to believe I was scared to attempt this and then, fell in love with paint pours. Note to self *Must make time for more paint pours.

  1. I love the bird mold! All of your projects are very nice but this is my favorite! It reminds me of a antique!
