Lately my eyes & hands have turned to painting.
Most recently I have been taking lessons from Joanie Sullivan of WeatheredWings.com
Joanie is a wonderfully gifted artist as well as an excellent instructor. I have learned a lot of paint techniques from her. I am in her Facebook group Creative Junkies. Joanie sends us supply lists and project topics twice a month. In the Creative Junkies we have Q & A meetings twice a month as well, one of which is virtual. I’m met and made friends with some pretty amazing ladies that are really great artists.
Below are some of my personal creations.
This is a 24” x 24” glass with frame. These flowers are not painted. They are Painterly Florals IOD transfers. I love using these transfers. They are so much fun!
This project is a TV tray on which I used IOD transfers Painterly Florals and
DIY Paint in the color of Crinoline.
IOD Transfers on a thrift store chippy framed mirror. Ephemeral Milange
Redoute 2 IOD transfers on a TV tray. DIY paint in the color French Millenary.
These transfers are not IOD. I can’t remember the brand or their name. But these are also on a TV tray. The paint is DIY in the color Farm Fresh.
Poppies
Here is a 22” x 12” canvas I have painted with DIY paint in the colors French Millenary & White. I used IOD transfers from Brocante. Love the way this one turned out!
This is a gift for my oldest daughter to hang in her office at work. The canvases are all painted black. Then IOD transfers from Entemology Ecetera
This piece is an old cabinet door bought at Habitat For Humanity’s Resale Shop. I painted the background in DIY paint in the color Aviary. Then added a border frame in black. These IOD transfers are from Floral Anthology
This is another cabinet door from HFHRS. This one is painted in Crinoline & Farm Fresh. These IOD transfers are from Floral Anthology & Painterly Florals.
All paints & transfers were purchased at
WeatheredWings.comThanks for looking,
BJJS
