Christmas Creating in October

This piece was created using IOD Baubles moulds. The piece was created on a 12”x12” piece of wood. I started with Paint Coiture Embossing Medium and spread it over a harlequin stencil I purchased online. I painted the board with DIY paints. Base coated with Summer Crush but the ornaments clashed with the background. So I mixed Weathered Wood & Marquee to make a sort of oxblood color. Then I sanded it back and added another layer of Weathered Wood. Next I painted the Baubles from IOD with Gypsy Green, Summer Sun, & Marquess. Then I rubbed Rub N Buff on EVERYTHING! I will probably ginish everything off with clear wax to seal it.

This piece is on a 16x20 inch canvas. Base coated with Gypsy Green. I added transfers from IOD’s  Christmas Valley. I added bells cast from IOD moulds  Jingle. I painted my bells silver added a little bit of DIY Marquee to then and sprinkled with Clear & Ruby Slipper German Glass Glitter. Then I painted the roofs of the house with Paint Couture’s Sheer Bliss. Lastly I added the acrylic casts of Evergreen trees. These trees were painted with DIY Monet’s Garden. Then I used Paint Couture’s Sheer Indigo to add some glitz! I really love how this one turned out!
Before all the embellishments were added, I sealed over my transfers & paint with DIY Big Top.

More of my 2022 Christmas cards.

That’s all folks! For now.
